Hello Monday! Hope you had a wonderful weekend and got the much needed rest to start a brand new week!
It was cold and raining pretty much all weekend here. So done with the wet and cold! Need sunshine! I took the opportunity to mostly laze around indoors and catch up on the growing stack of design magazines. We also explored landscaping options for our front and backyards. I started with a list of needs/requirements/wants (mostly wants)- over grown stone paths, a hammock, a water feature, outdoor fireplace, area for entertaining, herb garden, colorful flowers, cherry trees,…..I want it all. A girl can dream big can’t she? Next steps include collecting inspiring pictures, layouts and plans, estimates, and I guess, downsizing the list of wants. 🙁 I am excited to have a blossoming garden and do all that our tiny budget will allow. Did I mention how much I love the outdoors? A loooooooooooot! Are you planning any outdoor projects? Care to share?
While going through my stack of old and new magazines, I came across Mikkel Vang’s work on an editorial. He took awesome shots of a wine and cheese party. More on that later.
